Atreum 288.2 LED Board, Horticulture Full Spectrum Grow Light Panel, Samsung LM301B

I needed to make the change to LED. I tried to years ago when the era of "blurples" was upon us. I spent a lot of green on some pretty lights. Buts that about it. Fast forward to about a year ago. I REALLY began researching LED's. Specifically one that could TRULY replace HPS lighting with LED's.
I remained skeptacle about them until I seen the first introduction into the Samsung LM-301's. For our small commercial grow, I needed to be around 800-1000 PAR across the canopy, and I needed 32 1000 watt HPS replacements per room. I was blown away to find out this light utilizing the Samsung LM-301 chipset was truly a replacement for our tried and true HPS lighting. After learning more about the company and the product I was sold. Not only did they use top shelf LM-301's but they improved the rest of the package as well.
Our solution was to go with Atreum Lighting. For one, the LM-301's have proven themselves, time after time. Also, Atreum uses true heatsinks, one for each board. Better still is the frame they use to put 4 (or 5) of these boards together. It reminds me of an adult Erector set, and allows me to move the boards around on the frame for a perfect lighting footprint. They provide Meanwell drivers, and the 490's are all capable of overclocking to near 550 watts, giving in our growroom one board for each plant or about 137.5 watts per plant.

I have now purchased 3 of these board kits through a vendor on amazon.

I already built a light with two of these and 4 cxb1820 cobs, and ordered a third board for a smaller veg light because of how awesome they are.

Bottom line is that the Samsung lm310b, on which these boards are built around, produces about 223 lumens per watt, which blows everything else out of the water.

Wiring them is easy as long as you remember to wire in parallel. For a little added customization you can get a b series driver for remote dimming, which my big light has but my small one will not.

The machined aluminum heatsink included with the board is super high quality as well.

These boards stand up to anything from HLG at a very competitive price. I can’t say enough good things about them.

After some time of saving money and doing research on LED lights and after my first experience growing with a blurple LED that yielded, at best, mediocre results, I needed to find decent lights or build my own.

Then someone on a forum pointed me in the direction of these beauties and I couldn't be happier.

I bought two with a Meanwell HLG-240H-54A driver along with the frame, then an ARA40 and Meanwell HLG-240H-54A driver as soon as it became available, got rid of the blurple in my 4 x 4 tent and hooked up my Atruem set.

I originally wanted to make a custom strip light/COB combo design but I've found the board and strip will be much better thanks to the spread of light provided by the spaced out LED diodes.

I plan on doing my own custom set up with 2 more of the 288.2 301B boards and 2 more ARA40s. Although with these beautiful anodised black aluminium heatsinks for effective cooling as well as the same matt black look with its 2 board frame topped off with the cherry on the cake that is the 288 Samsung LM301B diodes with included mountings, the only thing I would say that could make it better is providing or giving the option to buy hangers for the lights.

I know Atreum is always looking at new products and improvements but I would be excited to see kits for a full set up for certain dimensions in the future.

I have several of these 288 boards and I absolutely love them. Company is great to work with going above and beyond to ensure a good product and buying experience. I always recommend them for anyone looking into new lighting.

I was at first a little annoyed because this wasn't sold as a kit and I was running around trying to find parts. But the support provided by the guys at Atreum was fantastic for setting me on the right track. There were no notes provided for recommended hanging heights but they also provided suggestions promptly upon my asking.
The light itself is perfect for my needs, so far my plant has been happy, healthy and speedy. Keep up the good work y'all!
Only suggestion would be to provide some more information on the product page (what's included, what's missing, what size screws someone will need to mount a driver, recommended hanging heights, etc.) so people don't need to message you for it.
